Synopsis

After an accident, Zhang Xiao, a woman from the 21st century, wakes up in the Qing Dynasty era. Here, Zhang is Ma'ertai Ruoxi, a noble young woman during the Kangxi Emperor's reign. She lives with her sister, Roulan, and her husband, Yinsi, the emperor's eighth prince. Ruoxi becomes friends with other princes - tenth, thirteenth, fourteenth, and the fourth. She also attracts the emperor's attention and becomes his servant. Having a crush on Yinxi at first, she worries that he would be killed after losing the war on the throne. She tries to persuade him to give up his ambition, which he refuses. Meanwhile, the fourth prince, Yinzhen, falls for Rouxi because of her kindness. Rouxi also has feelings for Yinzhen, who stands for her when she suffers hardship in the court. But the changing circumstance in the palace threatens their blooming love.
